Seldon Lattice

The Great Work begins again

Notice of Rework

Everything published here is being taken apart and rebuilt.

This site is being reworked in full. The previous site stood for a while, and it was wrong: in what it claimed, in what it described, and in the people it named. All of it has been withdrawn so the work can be corrected at the foundation, not patched on top.

Nothing previous is being kept.

Pages, posts, product claims, persona names, and imagery from the earlier site are all gone, not archived, not forwarded.

Nothing previous should be relied on.

Anything quoted, saved, or reposted from the former site was published before its problems were understood. Treat it as superseded.

The rebuilt site will follow.

Corrected material will be published here when the rework is complete: measured slowly, and only as it actually stands.

What Remains

One part of the work endures.

The rework described above is the rework of this site and its writings. The published code stands apart from that judgement: the content-addressed reasoning store for .NET, with tamper-evident verification of everything written to it. That core is good, and it is transferrable. It was built to be examined, and it will carry into whatever the corrected work becomes.

It is good.

Storage and verification core, its tests, and a runnable demonstration that attacks a real store five ways, and verifies cleanly against every corruption it can catch.

It is transferrable.

Self-contained and MIT-licensed, the core depends on none of the withdrawn material. It remains exactly what it was: it takes no correction from this page.

Dissolution is not the end of the work: it is the start of the better one.
